Commercial ads have already penetrated almost every nook of our life. Marshall McLuhan once compared ads to brain-washing, it “onslaught on the unconscious” . People’s authority of choosing the ads are replacing by the gaze from commercial ads. Ads are impacting people, trying to pull the audience into the joy of consumption. In this work, tapes sculptured the posture which people use when they are watching the ads. They are blending into the background at the same time.
